Meat Science and Muscle Biological science instruction began at Texas Tech in 1933, viii years later on the university opened. All proceeds generated from the sale of Raider Ruddy Meats provides funds for judging teams, graduate educatee research and scholarships for students inside the Department of Animal & Nutrient Sciences at Texas Tech.
